Red Boot Apothecary

Hey Herb Mate! 👋🏽, I’m Alicia LeBouff, a clinical herbalist and the founder of Red Boot Apothecary in San Antonio, Texas. You’ll usually find me in my garden wearing my red boots, which is how the name came to be.

I’ve lived a self-sufficient-ish, holistic life for over 20 years. In 2023, I discovered herbalism and knew it was my calling. I initially trained at Sacred Journey School of Herbalism and have put thousands of hours into clinical herbalism, anatomy, physiology, and nutrition.

I grow many of my own herbs, and I have a deep connection and reverence for the plants and the medicine they offer. Every tincture, elixir, and formula is made by hand, because I believe the herbs are one part of the healing, and the energy and intention I put into my work is the other.

I’m also an intuitive with a connection to spirit, and that is woven through everything I create. Science lights the path I can see, and spirit guides me where I can’t. I walk with both.

Let’s grow, harvest, and heal together. 💚
